North Stars’ Bruchkowski named SIJHL – Monkey Team Sports, by Northland, Performer of the Month for October


THUNDER BAY, Ont. –
The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Friday that Thunder Bay North Stars forward Cody Bruchkowski has been named its Monkey Team Sports, by Northland, Performer of the Month for October.

In eight games last month, the 20-year-old from Cochenour, Ont., produced points in each of them that saw him score a league-best 11 times, while dishing out four assists along the way, helping the North Stars go 7-0-1 during the time frame.

Three of Bruchkowski’s tallies were game-winners for first place Thunder Bay.

He also notched a pair of hat tricks and enters November with a solid point-per-game average of 1.88.

Also earning consideration for the SIJHL’s Monkey Team Sports, by Northland, Performer of the Month for October was Ethan Stuckless, (F) Red Lake Miners; Noah Loveday (F) Fort Frances Lakers; Amraj Gill, (D) Dryden GM Ice Dogs; Bryce Johnson (F) Thief River Falls Norskies and Tyler Shetland, (F) Wisconsin Lumberjacks.
