THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League has announced that Thursday’s scheduled contest (January 4) between the Thunder Bay North Stars and Thief River Falls Norskies at Ralph Engelstad Arena has been postponed.
The cause for the postponement results from the breakdown of the North Stars’ bus that prevented them from arriving in Thief River Falls in time for their scheduled game on Wednesday, which was also postponed.
With no other bus being available to them, from their charter company, Thunder Bay is unable to make the trek to Thief River Falls for Thursday’s match-up as well.
Make-up dates for both postponed games will be announced once they are finalized.
