THUNDER BAY, Ont. — Shaw Spotlight has partnered with the Superior International Junior Hockey League and HockeyTV to bring fans in northwestern Ontario the SIJHL Game of the Week.
These games will include local Junior “A” hockey action from the Dryden GM Ice Dogs, Fort Frances Lakers, Red Lake Miners and Thunder Bay North Stars.
All four markets will have a televised game each Saturday afternoon on a tape delay basis featuring their local team.
“The SIJHL is very excited with this partnership to showcase our four Canadian based SIJHL teams to Shaw Spotlight subscribers for the 2018-19 season,” stated league commissioner Bryan Graham.
“We trust the SIJHL Game of the Week will open our league to a new audience and also allow our corporate partners more exposure to the great hockey fans in the region”, Graham added.
Catch the SIJHL Game of the Week every Saturday at 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CT on Shaw Spotlight channel 10 or Shaw Bluesky channel 105.
