SIJHL’s North Stars 4th; Miners 15th in latest CJHL rankings

CALGARY, Alta. – As the second month of the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s season nears a close, we have a new No. 1 in the CJHL Top 20 weekly rankings.

Moving up a notch to No. 1 across the country this week is the Brockville Braves (CCHL) who boast an impressive .882 winning percentage and a 15-2 record.

Also making a jump this week is the Oakville Blades (OJHL), who move to No. 2 nationally having gone 15-1-1-1 overall heading into their next three games being played on the road.

The 2019 Canadian Jr. A Championship-host Brooks Bandits (AJHL) dip to No. 3 in the CJHL, but are a solid 14-2-0.

Rounding out the Top 5 are the Thunder Bay North Stars (SIJHL) (10-1-1-0) at No. 4 and the No. 5 North York Rangers (OJHL) (17-1-0-3), with both of those clubs only having one loss in regulation apiece to date.

The weekly CJHL listings are compiled by an independent scouting service which uses a variety of factors to determine the rankings.
