The Thunder Bay North Stars are still looking for billet homes for this 2020-21 season. Billet (host) families play a very important role in the success of a player on and off the ice and we are looking for a friendly, safe and healthy environment to place our players in. Billeting is a vital and often overlooked aspect of the SIJHL experience, and the success of a good match, impacts the player on and off the ice, long after his playing days in the SIJHL are done. As a billet, you are able to provide a healthy, happy and nurturing home for these young men, and are the backbone of motivation and determination. Ultimately for the hockey player to achieve his goals and be as good as he can be, he needs to be happy in his surroundings.
Billet Family Program Requirements:
Each player is to have their own room
Healthy and nutritious food available for players
Billets receive Remuneration in the amount of $500 per month, two season tickets and discounted Team Merchandise.
If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a host family, please contact Mike Tallari immediately at or 807-632-4896 to find out more information on our Billet Program.
